Rules & Regulations
1. All contestants must be Male and at least 21 years old at the time of
the pageant and have valid ID to compete.
2. Tink’s Pub will not tolerate the use of DRUGS of any kind on the
Tink’s Pub property. If you or anyone accompanying you are
caught with Drugs then you will asked to leave and will not be able
to participate in the contest thus forfeiting the $25.00 Entry Fee.
3. Stealing or tampering with any other contestants property will not
be tolerated. If you or anyone accompanying you are caught doing
this then you will asked to leave and will not be able to participate
in the contest thus forfeiting the $25.00 Entry Fee.
4. Due to the small space available for dressing, Only 1 person may be
allowed in the dressing area to help you.
5. Backup dancers and/or other people may accompany you on stage
for your talent. If these people need to change or make other
preparations then they will be allowed backstage to change just
before and after talent.
6. Each contestant will be allowed one guest free of charge. Anyone
else accompanying the contestant must pay the cover charge.
7. All categories will be judged by a panel of experienced judges.
Contestants will be judged on Creative Evening Gown, Question &
Answer and Talent. There will be no score for Presentation.
8. The Presentation category will be limited to 3 minutes. Presentation
may be in any form that you see fit, e.g. an introduction of yourself
with or without music or any fashion that you wish to use to present
yourself to the judges and audience.
9. The Creative Evening Gown / Question & Answer category will he
limited to 4 minutes. 2 minutes to display Formal Wear & 2 minutes
to answer the judges question.
Note : The Evening Gown Competition should reflect the contestants
own personal style and attitude.
10. The Talent category will be limited to 7 minutes with an additional
3 minutes for prop set up if needed.
11. Any talent that you wish to do is acceptable, however the use of
liquids or fire is forbidden as well as any thing that may cause
harm to yourself or anyone else.
12. All music for presentation and talent must be clearly marked on
the CD case and turned in to the DJ before contest begins. The DJ
will collect your music at 10pm.
Schedule Of Events
1:00 pm - Registration - Please bring your $25.00 Entry Fee.
contestants who do not pay the entry Fee at the time of
registration will not be allowed to participate in the pageant.
1:30 pm - Sound Check - At this time contestants may check their
music in The CD player to make sure that all CD’s work
properly. Also at this time any special instructions for your
music should be given to the DJ.
10:00 pm - Overture - The beginning of Miss Tink’s 2008
Judges Scoring
The judges will score as follows:
Presentation - This Category Will Not Be Scored
Creative Evening Gown - 1 - 25 points
Question & Answer - 1 - 25 points
Talent - 1 - 50 points
